What it is01

What is SciatiEase?

SciatiEase is a dietary supplement in capsules, sold for sciatic nerve health. One white bottle holds 120 capsules, and the Supplement Facts panel sets a serving at 4 capsules, so a bottle is 30 servings.

The bottle front reads “Supports Sciatic Nerve Health*”, with three smaller lines: “Supports Comfort*”, “Supports Nerve Health*” and “Supports Healthy Inflammatory Response*”. The asterisk points to the standard FDA statement: these claims were not evaluated, and the product is not meant to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease (FDA, Q&A on Dietary Supplements).

The official site names the company as SciatiEase Labs, LLC of Smyrna, Tennessee, and says the capsules are made in Tampa, Florida (SciatiEase official site). Gosciatiease, the site you are reading, is an authorized U.S. retailer. We did not make the product, and we earn money when you order through our links.

Tap any number to see what that part of the bottle says.

  1. SciatiEase Labs band

The brand name on the blue band. The official site names the company SciatiEase Labs, LLC of Smyrna, Tennessee.

  2. Maximum Strength

A marketing phrase, not a standard. The real strength is the amounts on the Supplement Facts panel.

  3. Supports Sciatic Nerve Health*

A structure/function claim. The asterisk refers to the FDA statement: not evaluated, and not a treatment.

  4. 12 research backed herbs, vitamins and antioxidants

The panel lists 12 lines. Research exists on most single ingredients, rarely at these doses, never on this product.

  5. Three support bullets

Supports Comfort*, Supports Nerve Health* and Supports Healthy Inflammatory Response*, each with the asterisk.

  6. 120 Capsules

120 capsules: 30 days at the 4-capsule label serving, 60 days at 2 a day.

The photo shows the current bottle. The brand's renders show an older front that reads “Maximum Power” and “Sciatic Nerve Formula*”. The panel and the amounts are what count, and they are on the supplement facts page.

Daily routine02

How do you take SciatiEase capsules?

Take 2 capsules with breakfast, and 2 more with dinner to reach the 4-capsule label serving. That is how the sales page puts it, and it lines up with the Supplement Facts panel (SciatiEase sales page).

The official site gives a shorter version: “2 capsules in either the morning or the night” (SciatiEase official site). At 2 a day you get half of every amount on the panel, and a bottle lasts 60 days instead of 30.

The official site also suggests spacing the capsules 30 minutes from prescription medicine. Keep every prescribed dose on its normal schedule.

  1. 01

    2 capsules with breakfast

The sales page starts the day with 2 capsules and a meal. That is half of the 4-capsule serving on the Supplement Facts panel.

  2. 02

    2 more with dinner

Two more with dinner makes the full 4-capsule label serving. The official site instead says 2 a day, morning or night.

  3. 03

    Space it from prescriptions

The official site suggests taking it 30 minutes before or after prescription medicine. Keep every prescribed dose on schedule.

  4. 04

Check in at day 30, decide by day 180

Note how you sit, walk and sleep. The money-back window is 180 days from the order, so mark the date.

More detail, including what to do if you miss a dose, is on the how to take SciatiEase page.

Ingredients03

What ingredients are in SciatiEase?

SciatiEase lists 12 ingredients: four B vitamins, two nerve nutrients, a two-part “AlphaPalm Blend” and a 50 mg blend of four herbs. Eight of the 12 have a printed amount, which is more than many nerve supplements show.

The biggest amounts per 4 capsules are palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) at 500 mg, R-alpha lipoic acid at 250 mg, acetyl-L-carnitine at 250 mg and benfotiamine at 200 mg. The B vitamins are in their active forms: B2 as riboflavin-5-phosphate, B6 as P5P, folate as methylfolate and B12 as methylcobalamin.

The herbs (feverfew, passionflower, Chinese skullcap and oat straw) share 50 mg with no single amounts. A proprietary blend only has to show its total weight and list its parts from most to least (eCFR, 21 CFR 101.36).

  1. 1Vitamin B2 (riboflavin-5-phosphate)25 mg per 4 capsules · 1,923% DV
  2. 2Vitamin B6 (pyridoxal-5-phosphate)20 mg per 4 capsules · 1,177% DV

From the Supplement Facts panel. Lines 9-12 are the 50 mg proprietary blend, listed from most to least by weight (eCFR, 21 CFR 101.36). Other ingredients (gelatin capsule, microcrystalline cellulose, vegetable stearate, silica) are not counted.

Every line, with its % Daily Value and the dose used in research, is in the SciatiEase ingredients guide.

The label04

What does the SciatiEase Supplement Facts panel say?

The panel says a serving is 4 capsules and a bottle holds 30 servings. It then lists every amount per 4 capsules, which matters because the sales page and the official site often talk about 2.

The B vitamins sit far above 100% of the Daily Value: B12 at 41,667% and B2 at 1,923%. Folate is close to normal at 120%. None of that is unusual for a nerve formula, but it does mean the vitamins are a dose, not a top-up.

Tap the numbers on the panel to read each part in plain words.

Tap a number to read that part of the panel.

  1. Serving size

4 capsules per serving, 30 servings per container: one bottle is 30 days at the label serving.

  2. % Daily Value

    B vitamins far above 100% DV: B2 1,923%, B6 1,177%, B12 41,667%. Folate is 120%.

  3. Four B vitamins

    B2 25 mg, B6 20 mg, folate 500 mcg DFE, B12 1 mg, all in active forms.

  4. AlphaPalm Blend 750 mg

R-alpha lipoic acid 250 mg plus palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) 500 mg, both amounts printed.

  5. Acetyl-L-carnitine

250 mg per 4 capsules. Neuropathy trials used 1,000-3,000 mg a day.

  6. Benfotiamine

    200 mg per 4 capsules, a fat-soluble form of vitamin B1.

  7. Proprietary blend 50 mg

Feverfew, passionflower, Chinese skullcap and oat straw, each a 4:1 extract. Single amounts are not shown.

  8. Other ingredients

Gelatin capsule, microcrystalline cellulose, vegetable stearate and silica. Gelatin means not vegetarian.

The official site's comparison chart lists PEA 600 mg, R-ALA 300 mg and ALCAR 300 mg. The panel says 500, 250 and 250. We follow the panel.

Dose vs research05

Are the doses in SciatiEase enough to matter?

PEA is in the range used in a sciatica trial; the other headline ingredients are below the doses most studies used. The bars compare 2 capsules, the full 4-capsule serving and the daily amounts in published research.

In the largest PEA study in sciatica, 636 adults took 300 or 600 mg a day for 3 weeks, and pain scores fell more than with placebo (Keppel Hesselink, J Pain Res 2015). Four SciatiEase capsules hold 500 mg; two hold 250 mg.

Alpha-lipoic acid, acetyl-L-carnitine and benfotiamine were studied mainly in diabetic nerve damage, at higher doses, with small or uncertain results (Cochrane, Alpha-lipoic acid 2024) (Cochrane, Acetyl-L-carnitine 2019) (BENDIP trial, benfotiamine 2008).

Claims vs evidence06

Does SciatiEase work for sciatica?

Nobody knows yet, because no study has tested SciatiEase. What exists are studies of single ingredients, mostly PEA, at doses that only partly match the label.

The sales page goes much further. It says the formula “awakens the damaged and dead cells” of the sciatic nerve and that the nerve is “Dying of Starvation” (SciatiEase sales page). Neither line comes with a source, and neither matches how sciatica usually starts: with pressure on a nerve root from a disc or a narrowed spine (MedlinePlus, Sciatica).

Each sales claim sits next to the evidence below.

  1. Sales headlineThe sciatic nerve is “Dying of Starvation”No source is given. Sciatica usually comes from pressure on a nerve root, often a disc or a narrowed spine, not from starvation. (MedlinePlus, Sciatica) (StatPearls, Sciatica)
  2. Sales copyIt “awakens the damaged and dead cells” in the nerveNo study has tested SciatiEase. Single-ingredient trials measured symptoms such as pain scores, not cells coming back. (Artukoglu et al., Pain Physician 2017) (Cochrane, Alpha-lipoic acid 2024)
  3. Sales copy“a very specific nerve vitamin”The page never names it. The panel lists four B vitamins and eight other lines, with amounts for all but the herb blend. (SciatiEase sales page)
  4. Social proof“Helped Thousands of Residents Find Relief” and “1000+ people”No data is published. Testimonials are not evidence, and the FTC bans fake or unrepresentative reviews. (FTC, Health Products Compliance) (FTC, Fake Reviews Final Rule 2024)
  5. Scarcity“sold out 11 times”Cannot be checked. Pressure lines like this are a common sales tactic; take your time. (FTC, How to Evaluate Online Reviews)
  6. EndorserA PhD-titled endorser calls it “one of a kind”We could not verify the endorser. An endorsement is not a trial, and endorsers must disclose ties to the seller. (FTC, Health Products Compliance)
  7. Bottle front“Supports Sciatic Nerve Health*” with the FDA asteriskStructure/function wording, allowed with the FDA statement. It is not a claim to treat sciatica. (FDA, Q&A on Dietary Supplements)

Claims as printed on the sales page (SciatiEase sales page) and the bottle. Health claims need competent and reliable scientific evidence, generally human trials (FTC, Health Products Compliance).

Keep taking prescribed medicine

Do not stop or cut a prescribed pain or nerve medicine because you started a supplement. Talk to the doctor who prescribed it first, and tell your pharmacist about every supplement you take (FDA, Mixing Medications and Supplements).

Bottle claims07

What do the claims on the SciatiEase bottle mean?

They are structure/function claims, the kind supplements may make with the FDA asterisk. They describe support for normal body function, not treatment of a disease.

The FDA does not approve supplements or their claims before sale; the company is responsible for making them truthful (FDA, Q&A on Dietary Supplements). Here is each one next to what the research on the ingredients shows.

Claims as printed on the photographed bottle front. The asterisk points to the FDA statement: these statements have not been evaluated, and the product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease (FDA, Q&A on Dietary Supplements).

Safety08

Is SciatiEase safe, and who should ask a doctor first?

Most adults tolerate these ingredients, but five groups should check with a doctor first. Answer the questions below; a yes means a talk with your doctor or pharmacist before the first capsule.

The ingredient to watch is vitamin B6. Four capsules hold 20 mg. That is well under the U.S. upper limit of 100 mg a day, but above the 12 mg limit Europe set in 2023, and nerve symptoms from long-term B6 have been reported at lower doses than once thought (NIH ODS, Vitamin B6) (TGA, Vitamin B6 rescheduling).

1. Do you take a blood thinner such as apixaban (Eliquis), warfarin or clopidogrel?
2. Are you pregnant or nursing, or under 18?
3. Do you take gabapentin, pregabalin, a sleep aid or another sedative, or diabetes medicine?
4. Do you have liver disease, or drink alcohol heavily?
5. New leg weakness, numbness between the legs, or bladder or bowel changes?
Answer all fiveYour result shows here. It is a checklist, not medical advice.
Bleeding, drowsiness and the liver

Feverfew may slow blood clotting (NCCIH, Feverfew), passionflower can cause drowsiness (NCCIH, Passionflower), and skullcap products have been linked to rare liver injury (LiverTox, Skullcap). If tingling or numbness gets worse while you take it, stop and call your doctor. More on side effects and interactions.

Know the line09

What is sciatica, and what helps first?

Sciatica is pain, numbness or tingling along the sciatic nerve, from the lower back down one leg. It is a symptom, most often caused by a herniated disc, spinal stenosis or a tight muscle in the buttock pressing on the nerve (MedlinePlus, Sciatica).

Most cases get better within 4 to 6 weeks, even without treatment (StatPearls, Sciatica). The American College of Physicians puts heat, staying active and nondrug care first for new back pain (ACP guideline, Annals 2017).

Some signs are an emergency. Know them before you try anything else.

  1. Lower backPain may start here or not at all. Many people with sciatica feel more in the leg than in the back.
  2. Nerve roots, L4 to S3The nerve begins as roots leaving the lower spine. A bulging disc or a narrowed spine at these roots is the usual cause of sciatica.
  3. ButtockThe nerve passes deep in the buttock. Sitting can make the ache or burning worse.
  4. Back of the thighPain often shoots down the back of one leg, sometimes like an electric shock.
  5. KneeAbove the knee the nerve splits into two branches that run down the lower leg.
  6. Calf and shinNumbness, tingling or pins and needles are common here. Weakness needs a doctor's look.
  7. FootSymptoms can reach the foot and toes. A foot that drags or slaps when you walk is a reason to get checked soon.

A simplified route, usually on one side only. Sources: MedlinePlus (MedlinePlus, Sciatica) and StatPearls (StatPearls, Sciatica). Pain along the line has many causes; a clinician sorts out which one.

  1. Bladder or bowel changesCannot pass urine, or leaking urine or stool
  2. Saddle numbnessNumb groin, inner thighs or buttocks
  3. Leg weakness getting worseFoot drop, stumbling, a leg giving way
  4. Both legsPain or numbness in both legs at once
  5. After a fall or with feverPain after an injury, or with fever or weight loss

See a doctorLeg pain that lasts more than a few weeks, keeps you from sleeping or working, or keeps coming back deserves an exam. A supplement should not delay it.

Go nowLoss of bladder or bowel control or numbness between the legs can mean cauda equina syndrome, an emergency. Call 911 or go to an emergency room.

Verdict10

What are the pros and cons of SciatiEase?

The strengths are a readable label and a long guarantee; the weak spots are untested claims and a dose that depends on taking 4 capsules. Here is the short list.

Pros

  • Eight of 12 ingredients have printed amounts
  • PEA at 500 mg sits inside a studied sciatica range
  • Active B vitamin forms, including methyl B12
  • 180-day money-back guarantee
  • From $49 a bottle on the 6-pack, free US shipping on 3 or 6

Cons

  • No trial of the product itself
  • Most doses below studied amounts, and halved at 2 capsules
  • Herb blend amounts hidden
  • B6 at 20 mg is above Europe's daily limit
  • Sales copy overstates the evidence

Our view: a label with real amounts and one ingredient, PEA, that has sciatica data behind it. Treat it as a supplement alongside care, never as a substitute for a diagnosis.

What do the SciatiEase photos and badges show?

They show the real bottle and how orders ship, not results. Every image below comes from the brand, and each caption says what it is.

The one badge, a 180-day money-back seal, matches the guarantee. The other marks on the bottle, such as “Maximum Strength”, are words, not certificates.

FAQ15

SciatiEase questions, short answers

What is SciatiEase?

SciatiEase is a capsule dietary supplement sold for sciatic nerve health. A serving is 4 capsules with PEA, R-alpha lipoic acid, acetyl-L-carnitine, benfotiamine, four B vitamins and a 50 mg herb blend; a bottle holds 120 capsules.

Does SciatiEase really work?

No study has tested SciatiEase, so nobody can say. Its main ingredient, PEA, lowered sciatica pain scores at 300-600 mg a day in one large trial (Keppel Hesselink, J Pain Res 2015), and four capsules hold 500 mg. Other ingredients show small or uncertain effects.

How many SciatiEase capsules should I take a day?

The Supplement Facts panel lists a serving of 4 capsules. The sales page says 2 with breakfast and 2 more with dinner; the official site says 2 a day. Follow the bottle you receive and do not exceed the label serving.

Can I take SciatiEase with gabapentin?

Ask your doctor or pharmacist first. Gabapentin can make you drowsy (MedlinePlus, Gabapentin), and passionflower in the herb blend can add drowsiness (NCCIH, Passionflower). Keep taking gabapentin exactly as prescribed.

Is SciatiEase FDA approved?

No. The FDA does not approve dietary supplements before they are sold, and the bottle's claims carry the FDA asterisk saying they were not evaluated (FDA, Q&A on Dietary Supplements). The official site says it is made in Tampa, Florida.

Can I buy SciatiEase at Walmart or Amazon?

Online, yes: Walmart.com has a listing sold by the brand's own seller account, and Amazon and eBay show listings from sellers we could not verify. It is not in stores. Our order buttons go to the official order page, where the 180-day guarantee applies.

How much does SciatiEase cost?

On the official site: 1 bottle $69 plus $6.95 shipping, 3 bottles $177 ($59 each) and 6 bottles $294 ($49 each), with free US shipping on 3 and 6. That is about $1.63 to $2.30 a day at 4 capsules.

Who reviews the SciatiEase pages?

The SciatiEase label desk writes them. No medical reviewer is named yet; the box at the foot of each page marks where those details will go once a review is on file.
